• entry into the Toronto Regional tournament of the Canadian Improv Games
• the official Canadian Improv Games training DVD (and additional online training resources)
• an invitation to participate in an All-teams Training session with the other teams in your Zone where we cover the basic terms and skills needed to get started
• access to a Zone leader who is available by phone or e-mail throughout the season to answer questions and help troubleshoot problems
• an invitation to participate in at least one night of non-competitive improvised performance
• at least one guaranteed competitive night of play in your Zone's playoffs. (Should your team advance, they can play up to 4 further times in the Toronto tournament alone.)
• access for members of your team to a wide array of supplementary programming (including the X-Week workshops, the Incubator performances & workshops, the Firehall series and the Spring X-periment!)
• an invitation to our end-of-season celebration
Additionally, we provide support to our schools in the form of e-mail communiques full of tips and updates as well as through a series of Coaches' Coffees focused on different areas of interest to coaches/teams. Throughout the season, a number of invitational events are held by various participating schools and we facilitate the organization of these so that teams interested in a greater number of performance opportunities can have them.
As it was last year, the fee for the 2009-10 season is $375.00.
Some financial assistance is available for schools with proven need.
